Near the corner of Jefferson and 15th streets, and at the East end of the Fern Ridge path there is a homegrown plant nursery called Bike Path Botanicals. I've been meaning for some time to stop and peruse their plants. They also offer fresh cut floral bouquets.

I imagine everything grows big and beautiful there. Did you buy something unusual, something to delight you anew?
Some things do grow extremely well here, like blackberries and vinca. Too well, in fact!
In truth, I have yet to actually buy anything from this wonderful little nursery. I hope to stop there tomorrow on my way home from my weekly trip to the farmer's market. And yes, I'm leaning toward buying something decadently ornamental, rather than simply useful, which tends to be my M.O.
